Who are we?
Utility Assist Ltd is a rapidly growing company formed by five ex-Supply Industry employees to help clients with the task of managing their utility contracts at the best commercially available prices.
Why did Utility Assist come to exist?
During our time in the supply side of the utility industry it became apparent that the levels of service offered by suppliers did not always meet with customer expectations. This was particularly so in the SME (Small to Medium Enterprise) sector of the market.
As a team who had hands-on experience with this, we felt that we needed to provide a facility for commercial organisations to have a sub-contracted Energy Management resource who could interface with suppliers on clients’ behalf, manage through queries and issues to successful resolutions.
There was also the issue of energy pricing and the fact that customers who didn't regularly tender their supply contracts were often the victims of inflated charges from the suppliers. So we pledge to achieve the best possible market prices for our clients - irrespective of their spend or consumption. This is something we pride ourselves in.
What can our clients expect from us?
From the very start our aim is to help. We help by:-
- Understanding our clients’ needs. Only by discussing preferences and priorities, and getting to know our clients’ businesses, can we act in the best interests of our clients and manage their energy contracts.
- Providing a friendly and knowledgeable service so our clients can relax knowing that their utilities are in safe hands and with people it is enjoyable to do business with.
- Taking away the stress and strain of handling an essential service by dealing with all suppliers on our clients’ behalf. We do all the diary chase-ups and the negotiating so our clients can get on with more important things.
- Securing the best possible supply prices. This is achieved by in-depth negotiation with all appropriate suppliers and using our knowledge of market conditions to achieve the best possible outcome in the negotiation.
- Being there when needed. We don’t impose unnecessarily on our clients, but we are always there when required to handle any utility related matter.
Honesty and integrity. We always act in a way which will enable us to sleep easy at night. There are no hidden agendas – what you see is what you get. If we can't do something or feel something isn’t in our clients’ best interest, then we will say so.
